Stalling is due to the tune. The lack of low end torque will kill you with an auto. I bet neither of those 274 cammed cars will run worth a $hit. Am I right?

What are you talking about not run worth ****? Yes stalling is due to the tune, and is a reason why his cam did that. Trying to tune the stall is complicated from what my tuner told me. But if managible it can be very affective. I dont know what or why you seem to have a personal vendetta against me?

Nothing personal. Just trying to help your car not be a turd.

I appriciate it but i dont think it will be just that. I dont mind losing low end power because i want a cam that will pull super hard when racing from a roll. Even if i go to the track, i want the car to have the best performance possible while staying stock block and no flycut pistons or notched pistons. I will upgrade the springs though and rev to 6500 rpm. I know my DD will be affected but if i was really bothered by that fact i wouldnt choose this cam. Thats why i made it clear in my first post that its a big cam. Im well aware of the pros and cons and the pro's are definatly better than the cons, to me. I do have 4:10's that will help me with the down low performance. But when racing im never below 3500 rpm. Excecpt from a dig and for no longer than .1 seconds if that. Its minimal to shave better times off the track, and have greater overall performance (power and time wise). If you do not want to lose low end power then these cams are not for you, but if you do want to make great power up top and dont mind losing low end power, like me, then this is a great cam.

Your conception of what it takes to make a N/A modular motored car perform well is flawed.

4.10 gears in a Auto will greatly offset the difference between a stage II Cam and a stock cams with low end torque. GTRACER is right about that much, I guarantee it.

Do you have Comp 274 cams, 4.10 and an auto?
