Way off topic... lol. I left to see the watchman and my thread turns into comparing burgers.

if you honestly think your shortblock is going to last long spinning to 6500RPM, you're clinically insane.

Those powdered rod's wouldn't hold up to 6250RPM for very long. Your talking about close to another 1000RPM.

either way, have you even gone with any of these cams? or are you just talking out of your *** about what others have said and acting like you know everything at the same time??

20lbft down low is a big drop for the 274's, and coming from someone saying "oh no, they don't lose ANY low end torque", your showing you have zero idea what your talking about.

Custom cams are pretty much the best bed for ANY combo. Not just FI, but NA as well. I wouldn't touch an off the shelf cam to be truthful.

Oh, and actually guys, stalling has more to do with idle RPM, and the IAC than with the tune. My car comes damn close to stalling when I slow down. I don't remember if you can alter the decay rate of the IAC with a predator or SCT tuner, I know you can with sniper.

The 4.10's and auto aren't the problem. The lack of mid range torque of the 274's is the problem. Be a little more careful in your reading next time.

i want to get the hi-tech stage 2's, however, i would pick these because low end maters to me a lot, as its a DD. The 274's have a larger LSA and a huge drop in low end torque...

i am interested in how you car feels after the install though, please make another thread/ post on this after you install them and share

EDIT: oh, and does the hi-tech stage 2's have PTV issues like the 274's? would it mater that i have the 96-98 pistons vs the 99-04 pistons since they are dished more?
