Smile Tires for Mach1

Recently purchased rims (18x9, 18x10 Black chrome FR500) and i am unsure what i want to tire them with. I just wanted your opinion on what tires you guys recommend. I was thinking 245-40-18, 275-35-18 Falken 452's. I have 245-45-17 on now, not stock rims though.

What you guys recommend?

Thanks

i had the same rims, and same size. i put 245s on the front when i got them, and they were too small so i changed to a 265, and that worked out perfect. i put 305 BFGs out back and luved em. i think they were the kdw 2s??? but they lasted forever and i beat on them a lot

275 or 265 up front and 285 or 305 out back 275 in the back would look too small for a 10' rim and why not go wider if you can?

I just bought new 18x9 18x10 fr500's and I bought nitto 265/35-18 for the front and 305/35-18 for the rear. They fit perfect in my opinion. Check my pervious posts for pics.

In my opinion, 245's on 9 in rims and 275's on a 10 in rims looks horrible. I just did 265's on my 9's and 285's on my 10's. I would like to eventually stepup to a 305 for the rear, but that won't be until I have some fundage lying around.

I also could use some help.

'Just bought an '89 Hatch. It has chrome Cobra R look-alikes that are 18X10.5 in the rear, 18X9 front w/ 245/40/18 tires. The car is lowered and looks really good. Tires fit nicely (a little scrub up front occasionally).

I want to go to Nitto Drag Radials. My question is will 305/35/18s fit under the rear and clear stuff. I know this is asking alot, without offsets, I just don't know what they are...

Anybody have any experience with 305/35/18s on a "foxbody" hatch ?

Thank You for any help you can give.

I thought the cobra R (Y2K's) were only made in 18x9 and the authentic s were 18x9.5. Never seen em in 18x10.5's.
