Looking to purchase SN95 Cobra -- found one, but comes with unwanted extra feature

That price is too high to begin with, add on the fact that there is mouse troubles, if he wont take 6500$, walk away. Its not worth it, there could be extensive damage to that vehicle that you won't see(i.e. electrical chewed). Just my opinion...

[QUOTE=Tim99GT;6436748]Found this on craigslist. Figured i post it up for those who might be in the market.

From another thread posted a little while ago. 01 Cobra or another $500 I doubt it has a mice problem. Just throwing it out there that $8500 is a little steep.

Thanks everybody for the responses. Several people have mentioned wiring issues due to those mice and that's definitely a concern I have. I looked at the car again and also found evidence that the mice have been in the trunk. While the smell is definitely most noticable in the engine compartment at the firewall, I don't really want to take the chance that it's a project that requires ripping the entire dash apart to correct. Heaven forbid that the stupid things peed on the carpet or some other upholstery since that would likely reqiure replacing whatever upholstery that holds the hazmat contaminant.
The seller isn't budging on the price right now, so given the issues, I'm going to pass on this one. I'm sure he'll find someone who is willing to put up with the mouse pee smell, or someone willing to take the chance that its easily corrected.
Who knows, maybe the fix would be easier than I imagine, but I can tell you that the response would less than favorable from my wife if I pulled into the drive way with a car smelling like a rodent outhouse!
I'm still in the market and have posted more details here https://mustangforums.com/forum/new-...ml#post6441860
Thanks!
Jason
