hey I'm an assistant manager for a discount tire. it is very possible for them to be out of balance. it depends on who balanced them. balancing isn't the easiest thing to do. More expierienced guys will be able to balance better then those who aren't as expierienced. If your steering wheel is vibrating it is not an alignment, its a balance issue. And you do not need an alignment every time you get tires. Definitly have them rebalanced, also have them check for bent wheels, which they should automatically do but tell them just incase.
im gonna go back and have them check. I called 2 places near my work, one being Kaufmann tire. both places seem not to know too much about cc plates. Where are you guys taking your cars for alignments with cc plates. One place said leave the car with us for a few hours and we will see what we can do. I dont think so. Not gonna happen.
yes it is definitely a balance issue regarding your viberation. It is also makes sense to have car aligned again especially if your old tires where not wearing evenly.

Every discount tire region will have a specific repair shop where they recommend as far as alignments. You just have to find what shop DT refers you to and ask them if they know how to do it. Any respectable alignment shop should know how to do alignments with cc plates. CC plates don't make alignments any harder it makes them easier. So for a shop to say "they will see what they can do" is a shop to stay away from.
