Ok, maybe I should start clearing some things up. I did buy a cheapo CAI but I haven't installed it yet because Slickcar.com don't know how to ship items. It's been over a month and still haven't received it. Second I wanted to know about a bigger throttle body because of the CAI I ordered and because I also have comp cams, underdrive pulleys and an off road x-pipe coming to me any day now. So the mods will be coming soon enough. Just trying to add a little extra horsepower since the SN95's lack some and wondered if I needed to change the plenum if I bought a 75mm TB and if a new TB would really make a difference.

hell I didnt realize you had other mods to go with it. Now you guys have me wanting to do the swap for the increased throttle response.

btw, what exhaust will you be running with the o/r midpipe?

I have 2 chamber flowmasters on it. The reason I did that was because I love the way it sounds on my buddies car with the x-pipe. And I have had flowmasters on every mustang I have owned and havent had a problem with them yet.

OP, your CAI should fit the T/B. I have the BBK 78MM with a cheapo CAI and it fits.....very tight but it's on there.

Like others said, the plenum is more restrictive than the TB so I would do that first. No real horsepower to be gained on a N/A application, but the throttle response is definitely noticeable.

If you plan on getting some form of F/I then a TB/plenum should be on the list of 'pre-mods' IMO.
