Does anyone noe whats this stands for???? the best i can come up with is ported intake heads??? would that be right????

 

Performance Improved. It's referring to the 99-04 heads.

 

Performance Improved/Power Improved are usually the typical meanings for PI.

Not trying to derail, but since I blew a headgasket and have my whole motor dismantled right now I am thinking about just sticking some pi heads on it instead of putting the old ones back on. Anything else I would need to do to the motor for them? I'm sure the intake manifold will be fine along with the rest of the air induction system, but what about the computer and fuel delivery system? Plus anything else I may be missing.

 

yeah i was planning on buying some pi heads i found online for 100 bucks used is there a real big performance diffrence with these heads????
