Default head changes

i have a 4.6L 281 SOHC. can i switch those heads to the DOHC or do they not line up. i wanna put more power into my motor by adding performance heads, cams, crank, and supercharger. can anyone gimme some info???

well obviously you didnt do a search on here.....

but ill tell ya anyway. Just buy a cobra motor if your wanting to run 4v heads. they will fit on your motor now(you'll have to buy new chains, sprockets, timing cover, yada yada yada..), but it will be much easier to just buiy the whole motor and bolt it in. Not to mention if you want to s/c the car. The 03-04 cobra motor will allow you to go past the 450rw limit that your current motor has. There are many and i mean many threads on this.
