performance questions

On an otherwise stock engine there is very little, if anything, to be gained with any after market "performance" intake manifold as the OEM unit can flow plenty of air to keep the PI 2V heads happy.
Just go to your FLAPS and buy a OEM style manifold for $200 or so...

I raced one as well, same year from a dig and left him so bad it wasn't worth going past 65mph but you have to understand that anything with a larger displacement is going to leave us at top end, I ran a 2005 vette from 65 and left it, at about 115 he walk me but seeing his face when I left him at 65 was worth the 115 walking. Our cars are not top end cars but can be made hell from 0 to 115.

I bet he will lose hp, I've seen so many with the same results, the best intake for our cars is the stock plastic one, you can't mirror the smooth air flow with the typhoon or any other aftermarket intake.

I raced a friend with the stock intake, then I raced him again with my Typhoon intake...I lost a little bit of bottom end with the Typhoon but I gained a lot of top end. I don't know why everyone craps on the Typhoon tho...I think its a great intake and I would definitely buy one again if I had another GT...LSWhat, what modifications do you have that allowed you to roll an 05 Vette from 65...??
