My Intake Manifold finally failed today 6/15/10
Ok so I finally had the original intake manifold fail/crack. I understand that Ford is done with the class action settlement from my repair shop but was wondering if anyone has any information on this. This just broke my budget for the car and I am pretty bummed. I kept the old manifold just in case.

The short story is that Ford and the class action's trial lawyers agreed, after six months of talks, that affected owners had from December 16, 2005 until March 16, 2006 to file a claim--yup, you read it right--3 months!
Also the class action lawyers made a slug of money while selling out the owners...
