I wouldn't go much lower than that. With MT DRs my trap speed fell when I lowered the PSI down past 14.

And of course a better suspension geared towards launching will make your trips to the track way less frustrating. A set of fox body v8 rear springs (like $50 through summit), strange adjustable rear shocks ($69 each through summit), and a decent set of LCAs is a great start. If you have some money left over, then front struts to match the rears too. For a detailed description, go to the 5 components to a 12 second N/A car sticky done by 1SLO85 (or was it code
Now that's funny right there. Yep, Fox body 4 cyl front springs with V8 rear springs, Strange adj shocks/struts and some LCA's. Way under $600.00 and VERY functional. I ran it on the Bucket before I went crazy and I cut consistent 1.6-1.8 60's.

That sticky alone can answer a large percentage of the threads I see on here.

The fox springs are a little softer than the stock 99-04 springs and the eibachs. They won't feel like a road racing suspension, but with adjustable shocks you won't notice any reduction in ride quality or too much on handling.....unless you are actually autocrossing or something

They are a little lower than the stock 99-04 springs, but ppl usually cut off 1/2-1 coil off each to get a good stance.
