Performance Steering Wheels...
His wife told us...
"You don't understand, if Bobbie had stopped [for the police] he would have gone to jail..."
I see so much ****-poor driving every day it make me want to puke--I seem to have forgotten more about safe driving than most of those out there (including "law enforcement officers") will ever know--just slow down and let the ******** battle it out, you'll be OK...

Very true, but didn't mean to start WW3 among two of my buddies on here....I actually felt like EE when I was creating this thread yesterday. I had no idea that it would blow up like it did...
LOL there was no WWanything. Cliff and I were just having a discussion.. no big deal. The thread dint blow up.. lol just ppl giving therie opinions on why or why not you should swap steering wheels. I would rather see this than everyone just say hey do it!!!
After reading this I see and understand both sides of Cliff's and HOSS's arguments. Yes defensive/alert driving can and will get you out of many situations but it is also the case that you can't control the actions of other people. I also believe that all the safety features has by default allowed people to drive like they are superman. It seems whoever was sayign that airbags cause more harm than good (broen nose/wrist) and would be better off not having it, it would depend on how bad the crash was in general.
A T-bone vs a head on....yes the airbag in a tbone may have broke your wrist and you would have been fine if it wasnt there. But in a head on...I would think an air bag is absoutely needed.
The more you argue for one side you can go back to say "Well should have paid more attention." In head on collisions on a highway, I don't see how an object as large as a Semi went un-noticed to the Camry which they were not able to avoid.
Now if it is a two lane main road and someone swervs across the double yellow at the last min, that's a little different. But a highway on average has what, 30-40ft of grass between the 2 roads? Ample time to react to ANYTHING going to hit me head on.

The funny thing about this case was there was no braking/yaw marks from an kind of avoidance maneuver. They didnt even see it coming. There was 1 surviver in the right rear compartment. She is still in ICU from what I understand. This happened July 4th weekend of this yr.
