Actually, that is pretty close. It looks a lot like the black crinkle paint you'd find on a Harley Nightster.

Glad to see people are liking it. It's cheap, easy, fast, and durable. Two cans would probably be enough for a set of wheels, so long as you apply even dust coats and make sure you cover the difficult areas first. It's a very forgiving paint, and runs are easy to fix and hide.

I also did a motorcycle engine with it, and it can definitely take the heat; even a welder has a tough time hurting it!

i tried to talk my brother into it on his jeep (prettydamnbigjeep) to do it but he was afraid it would affect the balance of his wheels.
