You didn't say that, I was just asking about the chromoly flywheel vs the aluminum flywheel.

Sorry, thought it was a "trick" question...

I think aluminum wheels for our cars can go down to as low as 12lbs, which IMHO on a DD could be a PITA (how's that for alphabet soup), although I've never driven a 4.6L modular with a a wheel that light.

16lbs is about as low as you can go with steel. Steel and iron have about the same thermal conductivity, about 1/3rd that of aluminum, however the steel and iron can withstand much higher temps without deformation...
