Bit of a dilemma

Upgrading your springs to H&R Super Sports and getting CC plates is not gonna have any positive effect to straight line acceleration, which seems like something you are into. Don't forget with SS springs, you really should change out the shocks and struts at the same time.
I say do the gears and tires first. You can cut your stock springs in the mean time if you'd like. I don't care what anyone says, it is not bad at all if you do it right. I wouln't cut more than 1 coil all around...

I'll go against the crowd and say fix the trans issues first. Gears and suspension don't mean crap if the car won't move b/c you lost third gear due to pushing a worn syncro too far.
Then do suspension, followed by gearing.
Seems like people ignore the maint part of keeping a car b/c they get focused on making them faster.

Fix what's broken. Again if you know you have something broken or on it's way out then why spend money on other things. Your car will look sweet sittin in the driveway with no 3rd gear pretty soon...
