I don't know why he is suggesting that, but I don't think I would be very comfortable running a 150 shot in my car without a forged bottom end. My car is my DD, so I can't risk breaking it. I think I am fairly comfortable at the 100 shot level with a conservative tune.

Well, 150 shot can be relatively safe if you have a really good tune. I know plenty of people who have done it. I personally just feel better about it running the 125 shot. If you think about it, 125 and 150 wet shot adds quite a bit of fuel to an intake manifold thats not designed to flow fuel.

Do your homework and listen to these guys.. I have a wet shot spraying 125 and retarded timing 4 degrees. Get a tuner to retard the timing when your spraying and havebit saved. Zex sells colder plugs for their kits so I suggest buying them. There is a serious amount of prep before you start spraying or you are gonna detonate. And high test fuel is a MUST. be careful

I agree 100% with everett. I don't have spray on my 02 GT, but ran a TOP GUN 150 shot on my LSC for a few years. For every 100 horsepower of spray, you need to retard the timing 3 degrees. Colder plugs, a bigger fuel pump, a fuel pressure gauge, and a timing retard set-up will make your engine last.

That and about 90 hp more, I know this tread is old but I just had to answer. Before you decide to run anything over a 100 shot dry, IT IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST THAT YOU UPGRADE YOUR FUEL INJECTORS AND FUEL PUMP. You could run to lean without a fuel pump strong enough to support your spray and you could run to lean if you dont have fuel injectors large enough that will support your spray which could lead to heavy detonation, and you could crack and lose your intake manifold for sure. Hit me up sometime about dry nitrous. I tuned my own mustang believe it or not because american muscle does not tune for dry kits. Check out my stats.

You act like you have a built fuel system,

And once again why bring back 2 year old threads,

I am still trying to figure out how 24lb injectors and a 255lph supports a 125 dry shot.

you lil spiteful worm. I have never built a fuel system but it doesnt mean I dont have a working knowledge of how the components on the cars work? where is this strange question keep coming from? (build a fuel system???) let me just say this. I understand the simple basics of the stock 90LPH fuel system and stock 90LB injectors and figure out that if i wanted over 400 HP then I had to upgrade my pump and injectors and run those 24lb injectors at a highed spray rate. Man your so spiteful and JEALOUS. lol.

I know man Im jealous of your nitrous.

Maybe one day my car will be a beast like v8 or nothings lol.

And you keep talking like you are a fuel system expert , you have a 255lph fuel pump im not understanding why you are acting like it is some kind of amazing return style fuel system that will handle 1500rwhp
