Good old fashion header wrap. This stuff will keep the engine bay temps down but be careful with this on nonstainless-steel headers. If you ever drive the car in the rain, water can saturate the wrap and hold moisture on the headers which will make them rust through quickly.

Also I had BBK LT's not a big fan, there is a "Power Dent" in one of the primaries to allow for clearance of the steering shaft to me that looked like shotty design work.

There is also a power-dent where we wedged my transmission out from between my BBK LT's hahaha

Ceramic definately not gonna color my headers lol gonna find some high temp ceramic spray and coat the stainless steel. I have decided on mac $300 direct from mac, anyone know where i can beat that? (Although that's an amazing price compared to what I've seen)

Forget the BBK's, go with ARH LT's.

I know the BBK's get knocked around a bit, but me (and several of my buds) have had great success with them. I've had mine on for years with no issues (no corrosion, leaks, etc) and some of friends have had their long tubes on for well over 5 years with no problems. I know the whole removing one side to get at the tranny and whatnot is a pita, but other than that i think they're a good budget header.

As far as them not making as much power (especially in our rides and power levels) i think is bs, despite what others may claim.

I too am VERY happy with my BBK ceramic long tubes. The only down side is the fact that one side needs to be taken loose to drop the trans. My car made good power after the install. I'd have to see an unbiased comparison of different brands, with dyno pulls, to make me believe the BBK's don't make good power.

You guys really have issues with ebay longtubes?? I know the LS1 crowd and Grand Prix crowds both had great luck with them....cheap and stainless steel!
