Default MSD digital window switch

Do i need a tach adapter? And how do i wire in the tach wire to the tachometer? And what are the normally open switch output, and the normally closed switch output wires? And where do they go?

You don't need a tach adapter and you don't wire it into your tachometer. I wired mine into my #8 cylinder coil pack wire. There is a common colored wire going to each coil and then there is an oddball colored wire. This is the wire you tap into for your rpm signal. Here is a post I made in another thread about window switches.

When the switch powers on, I have the first setting set to 1 cylinder. The yellow wire coming out of the switch connects to the negative on your solenoids and grounds the solenoids when the selected rpm is reached.
Here is the installation instructions in case you don't already have them.

Switch works great! I mounted mine inside my glove box so I can make adjustments easily. Plus you can watch the rpm readout to make sure its on par with your tachometer.

I am going to put mine in the glove box too. I figured that would be the best place i could put it to where it would still be hidden but visible whenever i need it. And good too know you like it, so i guess i got a good quality switch then!
