My motor is almost ready!!
Well, After paying a friend to build my first "Built Motor" the Main caps were installed wrong...(they are labeled, not sure how he did it wrong) Well it ran great for 6+ months at 528 whp. Finally Started making a noise, Nothing damaged, a Bearing was a little messed up. Bought a Teskid Block, Gave it to someone that knows what they are doing. Good thing is Now I can put a smaller pulley on and overdrive crank pulley because i NOW have the fuel system to back it up. I was running out of Fuel at 528whp.. so, hoping to break the 600 Mark on Blower only. Then comes the NItrous(starting with 100shot, then moving up later this summer or winter)
Motor will be done SOON.. Engine bay will be painted next week or week after that hopefully. Stuff i still want to buy (Dont need) Canton coolant tank/ Power steering tank black, BBK Valve Covers (powdercoated black W/ mineral gray writing) Valve covers will have baffles welded into them for their problems.
Not sure what else I should do before the motor goes in.
Hood, Bumper and spoiler just got back from the Paint shop this week.....
Cannot wait to get my car back, been too long since I have driven it. My roomate has a suspended license so luckily i have had a car to drive the last few months, But its just not the same.... Interior is BEAUTIFUL, but just NOT fast enough...
But for real, these things are a dog stock...... So I havent complained too much about my car being gone, I definitely get more looks in this car, But the Sleeper effect is GONE...
Anything else you guys would do while the motor is out?? Luckily my friend from high school and Now roomate owns his own shop, Soooo Labor is out of the question.. With out him my car would still be stock.
Ive been thinking about the:
Killer Chiller(ac cools the coolant?)
Bigger Front mount intercooler
Not sure what else i can do to help the car out.

Im hoping for low 600' s on blower with ~18 lbs. Then only running the 100 shot of n20. Hoping to be mid 700's on N2O with alot of torque. Before I get the heads & run the 175 shot I need to upgrade my tranny & clutch. Prob ditch the tko600 and get a. Viper spec T-56.
All this work to hit 9's in my dd... I might end up buying a new 5.0 and throwing a turbo on that. Alot easier than this build lol.
Me and my friend have been debating driving our cars up to the american muscle show one year. Hopefully when mine is finished we can do the next one.
