Any FI guys have problems with blowing couplers off?

Any FI guys have problems with blowing couplers off?
Well last night i was out cruising with some friends on the way to another car meet, and well i floored it and hit 11lbs of boost and as soon as i did that i heard a pop so i pulled over. I popped my hood and looked and i blew a hole in my coupler about the size of a quarter and i blew the steel clamp all the way off to where the pipes disconnected. So my question is what are you F/I guys doing to keep your pipes together? Any special clamps or couplers? Any links to them if so?
