This is a no brainer to me 2011 5.0 it is 7 years newer and just as fast.

The comment about a Cobra being more of a toy is exactly the way I feel about them. 5.0 is a great DD with HUGE potential.

Yeah, it makes an excellent and confy ride. Not to mention, SYNC and all of the new features are totally worth it, IMO.

One thing I will miss about New Edge's is their exhaust sound. Nothing beats a New Edge V8 Mustang in sound.

04 cobra if you want exclusivity and more of a play toy that will hold it's value. If you don't mind passing 10 cars that look like yours on the way to work everyday the the new 5.0 is a good option. If you're looking for a daily driver I'd also go with the 5.0.

I currenlty have an 02 GT, 04 Cobra and 10 GT (supercharged). The interior is far better in the 10+ cars when it comes to fit and finish but I LOVE the IRS of the cobra. The cobra just feels tighter when driving down the road when I compare it to my 10 GT.

At the end of the day you need to drive both as they feel completly different when driving plus if you are a bigger person you may not even fit in the cobra seats comfortably as they hug you tight.
