Default are strange engineering and QA1 struts/shocks no good for street?

Hey All:
I picked up a set of Strange Engineering adjustable front struts, and QA1 adjustable rear shocks for my '00 GT.

I am being told on another forum that these struts and shocks are designed for dragstrip use, and not so much for good handling on the street. Is this true? If so, I am going to sell them off and go with Tokico D-Specs or Bilsteins.

I am going to either pair them up with my eibach prokit, or my H&R SS springs (the only thing preventing me from installing the H&R SS springs is going too low to enter/exit certain ramps in my building).

Thanks

Ill be running the strange adjustables on all 4 within the next month or so on my daily. Some people don't like how harsh the ride is, some people like me don't care.

They are adjustable so you can make them run as a drag strut or you can adjust them to run like a DD strut. I had them and they were fine. Only bad thing about them is they are noisy. If noise doesn't bother you then you'll be fine.

Like wannabe mentioned they're adjustable so you can control the ride. They're not bad it's just that they're not a higher end shock/strut like the Bilstiens or D-specs.

I had a set of Strange 10-ways on my '04 GT with a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs and it was a nice streetable setup. Keep in mind, it was not an American Iron Extreme racecar, but it cornered well on the factory 17" wheels, and I liked being able to adjust the dampening in a parking lot with no tools. (soft for cruising, stiff for cornering)
