Default Best bang for buck brakes for Mustang GT?

I recently bought a 2000 Mustang GT. It needs all
new brakes very badly, and I wanted to hear your recommendations for an everyday driver. I want to change the calipers to some that look better through my wheels so I don’t want oem. From what I’ve read, it’s probably best to stay away from drilled and slotted rotors for my purpose. So what are the best budget brakes for my mustang? I say budget because I’d prefer to spend less than $500.

If you don't like the look of stock calipers then $500 ain't gonna cut it.

For <500? clean and paint your existing calipers and buy slotted dimpled rotors instead of slotted and drilled. The rotor recommendation won't cost any less but drilled rotors usually develop micro cracks that radiate out from the holes so over time they can look crummy up close.
