Default What are you running with 3.73's?

Hey guys... 4.0L creeping into you territory... I mean no harm [sm=gobble.gif]

But, I'm thinking of slapping on an X-charger onto my ride (an eaton based supercharger). The dyno number they're showing are nearly identical to the dyno curves of the auto GT.... really, creepy close.

I'm just wondering what sort of 1/8 and 1/4 mile improvements you guys have been seeing when you added 3.73 gears (which I already have).

Yes, yes... so many other factors to figure in and I coulda just gotten a GT, so no lectures please LOL! This is my first modded ride and I'm having such a blast! I'd still just like to hear from ya so I can get a wild ballpark comparrison of what I might expect.

Thanks for indulging your lil six bro!

I have 3.73's in my ranger (5.0, aod), It seems REALLY slow, compared to my stang which has a 3.27. Theyre close in build though, Im going to guesstimate it at mid 14's. I bet it would actually get up faster witha 3.55.

I dropped a couple of 10ths in the 1/4 going from 3.55s to 3.73s. On the street I really don't even notice them that much in 1st. On the upper end of 2nd and in 3rd I can definitely tell they are there.
