that sound.....
what up, i justa got my 07 gt about 3 weeks ago and now like 1 week ago i have started hearing a sound when i apply 1st 2nd and 3rd. once i apply the gears i hear like a little "kjk" on first mostly, second some, and thrid a little, i was wondering if that has happenend to anybody alse, is it normal , or what?? or maybe its a factory defect cause it only has 600 miles. please anybody any ideas, comments, please
I'm not sure what "kjk" sounds like buy my '06 doesn't make any noises in any gear. I did notice in the first 1000 miles that the transmission was a little stiff, but now with 7000 miles on it's very smooth. If you're hearing noises you don't like take it back to your dealer.
I have that sort of sound that seems to be coming from the back of the headunit... it does it when the engine vibrates a bit more at certaing rpm ranges, sound like an aluminum shield is loose or something and its the second mustang with very low miles I have heart with that exact same noise... so there should be a lot with that issue any comments on this? Is there a fix?
Are you pushing the clutch all the way down between gear changes and when you shifting are you pressing hard into the sides of the shifter? like if your going from 1st to 2nd are you pushing hard left and down?

na its just a little, sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't do it, like yesterday a drove it at nigth and it didn't do it at all, and today in the morning it only did it once on first, and i have been noticing that when switch gears fast it doesn't sound at all it does it when i apply and don't accelerate rigth away its wierd, even my dad that is a mechanic at a ford dealer doesn't know what it is, but im gonna take it in this weekend to the dealer to see what happens.
