Warranty Issues

Warranty Issues
I have an 07' mustang GT and I am interested in modifying it; such as CAI, exhaust, throttle body, etc. I wanted to know what exactly will or will not void the warranty with the dealership. I have read that tuning the cars with the chips and such will, because the sensors get thrown off. So if anyone has insite on the exact parameters of what will void the warranty, please let me know. Thanks!

RE: Warranty Issues
Yes, the Magnuson-Moss Act is supposed to protect us from dealers/manufacturers denying warranty claims. But if you're dealing with a mod friendly dealer, you'll be fine in most cases. And if your dealer is not mod friendly, you're probably screwed.
Read yourowners manual on this topic. Talk with your dealer, see what they say.And don't be surprised if they say, all is fine (today), but when you've got an issue. They'll be the first to point out. Oh you did this or you did that....we're not covering this repair.
In other words, this is no clear black or white answer.
