Default A few questions for the pros

I am just wondering what I should do in reference to my next modifications. I am not afraid to admit that I am addicted to adding modifications to my baby. But first I have some questions:
1. How many millimeters is the stock throttle body on my '06 Stang?
2. Is it a modification thats worth the money?

After looking at the mods that have been done, what would you do next?

There's so many different things you can do. What do you want out of your car?

If you're asking if an aftermarket throttle body is a worthwhile investment, I think you'll find the common consensus is a resounding no, unless you're running a high boost application.

If you are running a high boost application, and your throttle body is now the restrictive portion of the system, the GT500 throttle body is (I believe) the commonly preferred part of choice.

They also make a single blade TB (cant remember the name of it) that flows so much more air then the stock one......if the GT500 one is single blade that IS NOT the one I am referring too. But Kotobuki is right no point in Modding the TB until your running 13+ psi boost (esp with the T/S S/C's- Whipple and KB).

Its called the black diamond TB- single blade and 1600+ cfm

I did the math on it one day, and to flow enough air in NA form to have the stock TB be a restriction, you would have to port the heads and be displacing nearly 6 liters.

But to answer the question... the stocker is a twin 52mm opening.
