This is slightly off topic but,

What kind of power did you make with your 62-1 turbo. My new turbo moves a bit more air at the same boost pressures. Waiting for a re-tune.

it made 607whp and 677 trq at 18psi on 93 pump gas at 17deg of timing. my cervinis side exhaust is killing me, it is a 2.5" with 3 90's on each side. so i am going to an electric cut out on the down pipe that should add about 50-100. i hope.

After seeing a STS in person installed on a 2005 GT...I'd never go with that system.

It hangs too low on a stock height car. I could see scrape marks on alot of the return piping, and the turbo itself had some nasty gouges on it's casing. Granted I'm in Hawaii and they have crappy roads. But still..

and it's funny you guys mention the oiling system. The guy had to detune and cut boost because of it. He was only running 350 rwhp. Don't know the boost, but everytime he tried going for more HP, the oiling system went dangerously low.

He liked his turbo, but told me he wished he had picked up a blower like my old RoushCharger instead...less issues and easier to play with

I think alot of how well the oil return system works depends on how it's installed. The routing of the tubing etc.

Some of the pumps have a strange quirk in them where at a certain amount of voltage they actually reverse themselves. It doesn't hurt the motor but it will cook the turbo. It even says that in the instructions I had. Seems like they should be able to cure that problem.

The only clearance issues I've had is with the return pipe on the passenger side. I'm lowered and will occasionally scrape it on my driveway.

There's no clearance issues for the ground in regards to the turbo.

All the pieces for the turbo are made by Garrett. It's normal to have pitting in a cast part.
