Supercharger???
Im running 410s with my 475 stage 1 saleen. I had this installed in december so right out of the gate i had to be gentle with the throttle and it is. Guys who claim they cant keep from ripping there tires dont know how to drive. u can drive it like its stock but with a little extra hp. Then when u get on it it doesnt take long to get going. My goals were to have no low end loss. So i think i have accomplished that. If u your curiouse about my number im make 438hp and 430tq
Are those numbers at the rear wheels?
To the OP
When u decide on what supercharge to get I would suggest waiting until black friday or until xmas. i got my saleen 475 kit for 5100 instead of 5800 and the install was suppose to be 750 and got it done in december for 200. I saved 1250 just being patient. But i understand wanting to get it done. Just thought i would throw that out there

I am easy on my car so I am thinking I will be OK for just cruising around......the car does not see track time. I guess I will have to look into it a little more. It is kind of like guys who say they spin all over the place in the rain with the fox body mustangs. Lots of torque for such a light rear end. I have never had a problem here either....unless you give it too much throttle of course.

I bought mine at brenspeed. They had the sales on black friday and then another i think during xmas but cant remember. I go to there site atleast once a week if not more. I dont remember if the super shaker is one of them that was on sale but i do know the install price was for every supercharger that they sell. Good bunch of dudes there. Chandler is the one that i had asked about having 410's and a twin screw. He had that very setup and loved it so I said why not. He has always given me good information and not information based on sales of another brand for commision or anything like that.
Yes sir those are the numbers at the wheels. I did get mine dyno tuned. I have not had a chance to let her sing but hopefully in a month or two I will be able too. I dont track the car much but maybe 2 or 3 times a year and at that maybe 3 times down. Like i said though its definetly not a bad dd and your for sure in control of the car. Common sense driving goes along way
Brenspeed claims about 150 RWHP and 140 RWTQ....so it sounds like that is what you ended up achieving with your mods taken into consideration.
I am thinking I will be fine too with 410's and a TS, as I am quite careful with my car and mine is not a DD. In over 23 years I have never had to replace a clutch on any of my cars.

I am in no hurry......basically whenever the opportunity presents it self with a good deal. I would buy today if the price was right......then I again I could also wait a year or so if need be.
IMO, there does come a point where the 4.10's are overkill. Unless you're really going to put the money into the suspension and tires required to hook hard in 1st, that torque multiplication becomes almost unusable.
I have 3.55's on mine, and it launches harder than my current tires can handle with any certainty. Sure you can feather the throttle, but unless your traction is different, feathering with 4.10's and feathering with 3.55's still probably means you're going the same speed
.
All that said, my powerband/levels may be different from yours in a manner that I feel more comfortable with 3.55's than with 4.10s.
