can you fit a surfboard in an '05 gt?????

I could only see the width of the board being the problem, honestly. You could slant/tilt the board at an angle and "wedge" it in there, but if the board's really wide you could possibly have a hard time closing the trunk because of a not-so-snug fit.

And laying it on its "thin" side for a lower profile is out of the question. The top of the back seats frame will get in the way (too low).

No problem. I fit both my DR tires in from the trunk. Just push em forward toward the front seats. Theres tons of room back there.

howarmat shoved a 62.99" x 6.89" x 29.33" unassembled deck box in my mustang today. Trunk fully closed and 2 adults in the front seats. If there is a will there is a way LOL!
