Default will i need to replace my Gears

When i get my mustang, i plan on upgrading everything i need to, to handle 500+ HP, once everything is done, i will be installing a whipple supercharger

My question is is there any need to upgrade the stock 3.55's for 3.73's

this will be my daily driver that i will probably take to the local drags once or twice a year

i will be upgrading the driveshaft for a single pice

thanks for the help!

No need to change the gears if you do not want to.

Plus the difference between those two ratios isn't worth the cost. You need to make a bigger jump to actually realize some difference. But with the power you are planning, 3.55's will do just fine.

Just get a set of tires for the track. Cheap insurance IMO!

Gear swap for your Whipple is not required, I would however get the FRPP rear end cover as it has a girdle for the rear end.

+1 it's already a perfect ratio for a supercharged vehicle...you'll be happy with it...and if you're not you can always change it later
