Question noise???

I have a noise i am not to sure about bought a 06 Gt from ford dealership and they were putting regular gas in it. Ran into guy who traded car in and he tells me it has 93 tune on it, i bought tuner and all parts he had for the car. anyways its makes a tapping noise doesnt sound bad or deadly. the guy told me it started making that noise after he put the exedy clutch in it??? sounds like valvetrain noise to me, when ever you start car has constant ticking when you give it gas cant hear it anymore, however if in 5th gear at about 45mph and you gas it it does it until it picks up? any ideas? mildly moded car

its hard to tell from your description. Anyway you can take a video of this. That might make it a little easier to figure out.

Kinda sounds like pre-detonation especially with a 93 octane tune.
While you are troubleshooting, take a look at your plugs and see if they show damage.
How many miles are on it?

The noise in 5th gear sounds like pinging/pre-ignition. If the tuner has a 91 tune, try loading that and running 93 oct.

Can't say anything about your tapping noise, but 45 mph in 5th and trying to accelerate is way too low. You are really lugging the engine at those speeds. In fact, trying to accelerate in 5th at most speeds won't get you much.
