shift light

the tach light I got is one from e bay for $14.95, can it be hooked up without the adaptor? from the instructions that came with it, it's not showing one

I bought a a shift light also from eBay a couple years ago. Think I paid about 30 bucks for it and it needed the adaptor which cost a little over a hundred bucks. I would look into a Raptor shift light. Small and compact and it does the job.
