Default Preluber vs. Oiling system ??

I have installed an electric preluber that sends oil into a sandwich between filter and block. This is my 7th preluber I have installed, 1st on a 4.6L 3V. The one on my Marauder 4.6 4V worked great. As soon as pressure is attained, the fuse blows. Is there something unusual about this 4.6 3V that I am missing??

I think it runs a higher oil pressure than all 2004 and earlier engines which is needed for the cam phaser adjustments.

After playing around, it seems a 15amp fuse keeps it happy. It came with a 10amp fuse.

Wouldn't you rather find out why it's pulling so many amps? That 10amp fuse was trying to protect something.
