My 92 wont start.

My 92 wont start.
I have a 92 mustang hatchback 2.3L, and all i get is a click when i turn the ignition, it wont turn over. I bought new battery and threw it in there, and still get the same result. Do you have any hunches of what it might be? or is there a list of potential problems?

I replaced the solenoid mounted on the firewall today. Now, I still get the click but it makes a buzzing noise for as long as i hold it down. I figure it's a dead battery at this point. thoughts please please anything.
