They do need lovin'...no doubt. And I'll bite my lip, be nice, and be done with the conversation.

 

On another note, back in highschool, we used to roll five-deep in all kinds of cars including a Ford Tempo. We dogged our cars out pretty bad back then, and only once had a shock failure. To me, it seems like you should be able to jam five into a car if you have to.

 

Sometimes you just gotta take one for the team.

unfortunatly, sometimes friends have to go home with fat chicks so their friends can get the nice ones! been on both ends of that one.

back to the topic at hand,
we've loaded a 99 grand am with 8 people, and lemme tell ya, 85 in a grand am with 5 people in the back seat will change the cars handleing! and when you get pulled over, you look kinda stoopid climbing out!

 

ya ia hve had this much or more weight in my first 3 previous cars and in many of y friends cars and never had this problem b4... seems it must be combination of my springs being toast and having my tires sticking out farther than my fender. Hopefully when i toss my airbags in they will help me hook AND help a lil with the bottoming out prob!

 

Hahaha yeah, me and my buddies decided to take my car a 1989 5.0 convertible and i packed 3 people in the back with a passanger, and for every time we hit a bump my tired would rub against the fender and make a horrible loud noise..... But nothing as extreme as what happened to you hahahaha
