Default carb and intake manifold?

my question is what type of set up should i get for my 302. I have a range of about 300 maybe 400 bucks should i keep saving or can i pull if off with this!? Let me know what i should get. thanks.

Are you able to give us alot more info about your car and your goals with said car?

Figure on $500 for a "decent" carb.

LoL well you can look in to a nice matching h/c/i (heads, cam, intake) setup first if you want to go fast. You can also look into gears (my opinion: 5spd: 3.73's+; Auto 4.10's +)
But everything all depends on how much money you are looking to spend and what your goals are for the car. Are you looking for a street car, drag car, etc. You can also look in to a full exhaust for some extra power.
