hello i just rebuilt my motor and went with a gear drive that i bought off of ebay thay are from the mustang depot in cali, well my ?? is has enyone used these before cause i got the quite one and thay still make noise it whines real good but it also sounds like its rubbing somethin to like the axles on the dog bone are spining and rubbing my timing cover i dont know ive never used a gear drive set up before but if enyone could help me that would be great thanx!

 

umm..that's a side effect of all gear driven timing sets. Gives you the whine of blower without the power! Even the nylon ones I've seen have a hum to them.

 

I have one and yes they do whine. People ask me all day long if I have a super charger...
