Not to rob your thread, but i just put the gt40 upper and lower intake on and mine is running really hot all the time too. How would i check to see if somethings blocking any tubes?

if the sending unit is bad you should be able to unplug it. and if its bad, the fan will kick on when you unplug it.

3) place the thermostat in boiling water, it shoudl open. THen pull it out, it should close.
This man knows... This always works, and normally solves the overheating problems, well anytime I've ever recommended it, if it doesnt open buy a new themostat.

Maybe the car is running slower cuz the timing is set impropperly. Could also be causing the o/h'ing problem. When you say slower, how much?
