1) Save more $$ to buy heads to go with short-block...
2) Shake down wife, girlfriend, both if needed, family etc to get $$$$$
3) Sell blood.......
4) use any state federal tax return $$$$$
Anyway, you are going need both in order for things to work ok. BTW, why have just a 331 when the 347 don't cost much more??

you want heads before stroker,
or the stroker will feel like its trying to breath thru a coffee stir straw

im getting the 331 for exactly the reason r barn said. plus its going to be a turbo app. im thinking about getting the short block and storing it in my garage for a few weeks until i can get my heads and start building. i think i need to get a wife and a few girlfriends to shake down for some money..

wait why get a shortblock? why not build the 302 thats in the car to 331? save your self some money or go get a junk yard block for cheap. and i bought the streetfighter pro kit for 1350 with shipping costs.
