Default Long Tube headers?

BBK or MAC L/T headers---(94 GT).....are they really a bi*ch to install? What type of pains do you have to go through to get them in? Wouldn't u pretty much have to do the same thing for shorty's? Do you know where my clearance issues are (firewall?)? I really need some feedback on this. I'm gonna be buying complete exhaust in less than 2 weeks. Plz help!

also has anyone heard anything about the Pypes Exhaust-specifically the violator mufflers and x-pipe?

Is your car an automatic or a manual? If its an automatic I wouldnt even do it and definitly do not go with MAC. I had a set of MAC LT's on my 88 GT (auto). They were ridiculous to get in and to get them out I had my motor pulled 3/4 of the way! Its not worth it IMO and also unless you have 350+ horsepower they arent going to do anything for you.

Well my cars a manual T-5, The reason I want l/t's is because i have the future in mind, considering it might be awhile but my plan is too rebuild, stroke, and supercharge this car. i will get more from the L/T's then so the hassle now would eventually be worth it right?

To rebuild it, swap heads, etc., you'll have to pull it anyway, so get L/T's then. Save yourself the trouble and go w/ shorties for now. UNLESS you are going to boost or be pushing significant power in the near future b4 your rebuild.
