Default What do you think about this kit

I found a Trick Flow kit that consisted of Twisted wedge heads, street intake manifold, roller camshaft, roller rocker arms, pushrods, timing chain set, gasket kit, and value covers to match. I found this kit for $2149.00 in my 5.0 Mustang magazine. Is this a good deal because i am thinking about getting it for my 93' 5.0 gt Mustang

i have that same kit on my 93 gt . it is good . i would not change any thing if i was doing it again. i like it . you know you can get it with black or silver intake/valve covers/ stage 2 cam / tall valve covers & etc if you like ? this is from summit racing.

did not notch pistons these are the twisted wedge heads . they have the 2.02 valves but the valve pocket is turned/or twisted so it will not hit the piston on the 5.0. not sure on the 86 year. i have the stage 1 cam but if you are not using it for a daily driver you could use the stage 2 cam. also if you get the tall valve covers you may have to run a intake spacer and there fore a cowl hood. the parts in this kit all fit & work good together, i had no problems & i liked that . the rocker are adjustable & push rods are correct . hope this helps .who are you ordering from?

i forgot to mention , you can also get the track heat intake & stage 2 or 3 cam. just don't over do it if you are going to daily drive it or do a lot of city driving. good luck.
