Default WHAT WILL It cost??

I just bought a stock 90GT Vert manual and I am wondering what you think an average cost (ballpark) would be for me to have a local shop change the gears. What ratio should I get and will this make a big difference? Also I would like some type of exhaust. Any suggestions (approx price) Unfortunately at this stage I am not confident to do anything myself. Thanks.

get 3.73s. your looking at about $300 for gears and rebuild kit. and about $400-600 for the install. you will REALLY feel a difference. As for the exhaust, bbk headers, h pipe w/o cats, and i prefer flowmasters. the full exhaust will run you about $600.

you will like the 3.73s better, and they arent bad on the highway. unless your daily commute is highway, get the 3.73s. your gonna need 3.73s anyways to wake up that heavy vert!
