rebuild kit

reverse drum

boost valve

Hey man, I just had my t5 rebuilt, I had basic kit from auto zone. Included no Synchros at all. The shop that did mine took it, got me the synchros and rebuilt my tranny for 225 bucks. He said thats the going rate, such a sick deal. 225$ In the full ammount.

You did your by yourself? Brave man! Transmissions scare me. How did you you do it more or less?

I got the rebuild kit of ebay for $159 shipped, it was a good kit, had almost eveything. I did it myself and it went well, much easier than I thought it would be. I would buy a new steel bearing retainer before you rebuild also.
