squealing noise
I put a new clutch in my car and a rebuilt tranny about three weeks ago along with the new pilot bearing and throw out bearing.. I have noticed this kind of squealing noise like when you need to replace the brake pads. If I lightly touch the clutch pedal the noise goes away and it does not do it all the time. If I engage the clucth it does not make any noise at all. The car drives fine and shifts fine. It is not a real loud noise but it is there. The clutch pedal is a little loose of about an inch at the top before it is fully engaged. Has anyone had this noise or is it just my piece of **** car? Anyone have any idea what it could be?

RE: squealing noise
It is your throw out bearing! alot of them do it even when they are new! Sometimes it goes away after a short bit but sometimes it does not! I have replaced new ones just to get rid of the noise!

RE: squealing noise
Really? I thought it was my throw out bearing. I was worried something major was wrong with my car. Thank the lord . Sorry, all the work that has to be done to replace it, I will deal with the noise.
