How do I find out information on my 5.0 engine?
I bought my mustang from my Dad who said the previous owner put a cobra engine in my 1991 gt convertible. It has a cobra intake manifold. How do I find out if it is SVT or just a crate? Any info. or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Look at the heads and see if they are GT40's as I recall, the cobra's used GT40's (not P's, but cast iron nonetheless) didn't they? That would give some kind of indicator if its real or not I would think.
