well i have i 94 5.0 and i have this weird chirping noise coming from the tranny(i belive) well the noise only happens when im sitting at say a light and have the car in neutral and no pressure on the clutch
but when i put some pressure on the clutch pedal like when you ride the clutch the noise goes away
i replaced it no more then about 4 months ago new pilot and throwout bearings and still have the noise
i have run out of patience and this noise pisses the !@#$ out of me.. and ideas

Throw out bearing... If it goes away when you put pressure on the clutch I bet thats what it is.

thats what i originally thought but its a new bearing.. can you install it wrong .. when i took the old one out i failed to take notice to how it want in there was a lobe on it i figerethat was to keep it in place was there a specific way to put it in..?

i have the same noise and I was told it was the throwout bearing...

i just got an FRPP HD clutch about 3 months ago and after the first month it started to chirp

it still does it. I'm use to it.
