roller rocker play

i'm trying to make sure all my rockers are installed right (1.7 cobra ped mounts) and i'm wondering if they are suposed to have side to side play or not? on the pass side there are about 6 of them that have side to side play and 2 that dont at all. can anyone shead some light on them?

btw i'm using 1 .035 shim on all of them and they will tighten to spec in 1/2 to 3/4 turns.

as long as it wont jump off it shouldnt hurt it, on another engine i own they has a little bit of play from the factory.
