Man 88 it hurts that you asked that, I kinda had to take them off the car. Had a lil mishap, and I actually ended up putting smoked headlights on it I think it looks a lil meaner wit them. I liked them and would have never changed them if i wouldnt have crashed
but i did so I went wit somethin I thought looked a lil meaner and cleaner.

If he's gettin spark from the coil TO the distributor it's a direct shot from the dizzy to the wires then plugs... I dont' see how a TFI module would be diagnosed here.

I could see if there was no spark from the coil.

93Stallion, you pulled the coil wire from the cap to see if there was spark from the Coil to the distributor right? Then pulled a wire from the cap to a spark plug and the spark is not there right? Sounds like you got a defective cap or rotor. New or not, if there is spark from the coil, to the cap/dizzy but there's none from teh dizzy to the wires it's not a TFI module.

If you have spark from the dizzy to a wire, then nothing at the other end (spark plug end) then you have bad wires.

Unless I'm missing something...

+1 There is spark. Right? You said there is spark at the coil. So I don't think it can be the TFI. Or else the Coil would NOT fire. Once the coil fires, there is only mechanical parts Ditributing SPARK/Energy.

****Is the ROTOR it self spinning?

iight tHx for all the help guys, got it fixed 2day. It eneded up being the dizzy itself. I replaced the module neway tho, so that that isnt the next thing to go. I actually replaced the module first and that wasnt it cause the car still wouldnt fire, and when i talked to some mechanic at autozone he said its the distributor then so i changed that and that was the problem. Thank God this car is stressin me out. But aagin thx for all the help.

mmm....still overkill in my opinion. I think there was something wrong with the Dizzy that could've been fixed without replacing the whole thing..Oh well, back on the road!
