I need to chang my door handles on my 88 mustang gt, Can anyone give me a step by step on how to drill the rivets out? Thanks

Take the door panel off and punch the center of the rivit out with a punch and hammer. Then dill with a drill bit that is just a little bit bigger than the hole in the center of the rivet.

i dont have a punch, just a drill

You just drill out the center of the p. rivets, and the handle will come be off.

i got the door handles off but i dont hve a clue on how to use the rivit gun. any help would be great!!!

take the right size rivet insert the pin side in to the rivet gun. put the other in the hole squeexe handles togetherlossen the handles push in on the rivet gun squeeze the handles again do this till the rivets pops thats why they are referred to as pop rivets cause of the sound.

since u dont have a punch drill a starter hole with a small drill bit(good idea anyways keeps the big bit aligned better)

You might be better just using bolts and nuts instead of rivits.
